Garth Hackford was admitted as Barrister and Solicitor in 1968 and returned to Traralgon after completing 6 years at the firm of Molomby and Molomby in Melbourne. Garth is an experienced practitioner widely recognised for his business acumen and ability to guide clients. He has a broad knowledge of the law and local community and today practices primarily in Property Law and Probate and Deceased Estates.

David Hackford returned to Gippsland in the mid 1990’s and become the firm’s principal in 2006. David is based in Traralgon but attends the firm’s Sale and Fitzroy offices each week. David services a broad client base covering areas of business law, property law, family law, estate planning and deceased estates. Business driven, professional development and the efficiency of operations are high on David’s agenda. David otherwise attends professional development courses and training to stay abreast of legal developments and retain the ability to service a demanding client load at optimum levels.

Anne has worked in the legal industry in excess of 40 years and has extensive paralegal experience. As a respected senior member of staff Anne efficiently manages the firm's mortgage and securities department. Anne also attends to subdivisional work and assists junior staff in property related matters and paralegal practice generally. |

As an active and long standing member of the local community with in excess of 40 years of paralegal experience Marion has an ability to confidently guide clients and inspire confidence. Marion is also a current member of the Legal Executive Association of Victoria and works in a senior capacity in our Probate Department. In earlier years, Marion worked for the long standing practice of CH Ford, which merged with Littleton Hackford during the 1990's. |

Katie Membrey holds the position of executive assistant to David Hackford and performs senior paralegal support work and accounts work. Katie has worked in property and finance both with Littleton Hackford and previously as an member of the local banking community. Katie's experience and humour have been reflected on by our clients as making their transaction an easy and stress free experience.

Jennifer worked in the Real Estate Industry prior to commencing work in our property department as a conveyancer. Jennifer is head of Residential Conveyancing and holds a firm understanding of how the conveyancing and sale process fit together. Like other members of our team Jennifer energetically organises and participates in courses that advance her already high level of competency and compliment her efficient work practices. |

Chris has worked as a paralegal for excess of 20 years across. During that time she has worked in most areas of general practice and now handles primary residential conveyancing work. Chris continues to participate in courses to compliment her high level of competency and increase her knowledge. Chris' good humour assists clients to transact with ease. Chris is also a keen gardener and cook with the staff often being treated to home baked goodies as a reflection of her generous nature.

Sonya works in a paralegal capacity in our Sale Office. Sonya has a wealth of knowledge relating to sales, marketing and the property market generally. A developer in her own right, Sonya has a genuine enthusiasm and interest in property matters and forms a welcome addition to our operation in the Wellington Shire. |

Anita originally worked at Littleton Hackford in the 1970's returning to us in 2006 after managing a retail outlet, working in customer service and otherwise raising her family. Nita is the friendly front of house face of Littleton Hackford. |
